“Thank
you for the opportunity to be a Northwest Center Clothing Bin Hostess.
By placing bins on my property, I helped my community help a worthy cause.
It’s a good thing.”
—Suzie Burke
Fremont
business owner Suzie Burke was contacted to participate in our clothing
donation bin program and offered three very visible site locations. Within
the first six months, the community donated 8.2 tons of clothing.

One of the ways you can support Northwest Center is to host a clothing drive or donation bin. It’s free and easy. It’s also the most efficient way for us to collect donations, raise money for our programs and keep reusable clothing and other items out of our landfills.
Many employers enjoy giving their staff a way to help a worthy cause. Some businesses participate in clothing drives and others host a permanent bin on their property. Some even do both. Schools can also offer clothing drives as a way to provide community service credits for their students. Clothing Drives are great for building morale and spirit among employees and communities.
If your business or organization has property in a visible, high traffic location, you can tell the community how much you care about people with disabilities by letting us place a clothing donation bin at your site. It is a free service for customers and tenants—and we regularly service the bin.
If your organization or business is interested in hosting a clothing drive or a bin, please call us at 206-691-2588, e-mail us, or fill out our form and fax it back. We'll take care of the details!
