Why I Lead
My first job out of college was working as a house counselor, teaching independent living skills to three young men with disabilities. I went on to become a director of programs, teach driver’s education to students, and eventually, with encouragement from Sr. Jeanette, the principal, begin my development career. Working in this field moves you, motivates you, and changes you for the better.
My why is seeing a world that embraces differences, makes room for all, and respects everyone.
With recent events, our work is needed now more than ever.
