“Mabuhay!” Connie was born and raised in the Philippines where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Teacher Education. After working in early learning since 2009 in the Philippines, and following four years of working as preschool teacher, she took a break from the field to do accounting and office work. “I only lasted 10 months because I missed my life being around kids,” she says.
Connie feels fortunate that she got back to the job that she dreamed of since childhood. She moved to Seattle in 2015, worked as an assistant teacher from 2015-2022, then joined Heather Keeney as a co-lead on the Lynx team.
“Being with children is exciting,” Connie says. “It can be challenging, but the fun and joy while learning with them is worth it. I am looking forward to working with you and all your children.”
