Katrina joined Northwest Center in January 2015 as the Assistant Director of Northwest Center Kids Early Learning at Chinook. In 2017, she was promoted to Director, and in May 2022 she was promoted to her current role of Senior Early Learning Director.
Katrina oversees the curriculum and staff of Northwest Center Kids Early Learning. With a passion for early childhood education, she is dedicated to providing children with the highest-quality inclusive early learning and working with an equally dedicated and talented group of teachers and staff.
Katrina earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Washington and has experience working in childcare centers as both a teacher and manager beginning in 2010. She finds the evolving early childhood education field to be very rewarding.
Katrina has lived most of her life in the Pacific Northwest and appreciates the climate and culture of the area. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, checking out local restaurants, and attending musicals and concerts at various Seattle venues. She also has an appreciation of films and true crime podcasts.
