Maisa has been working in early childhood for more than ten years. From her first job working at an early learning center in high school, she knew that this was what she wanted to do with her career. Maisa has worked with all ages, from infants through school-age children, and in positions ranging from teacher to manager. Her favorite aspect of working in early childhood education is working directly with children in the classroom, where she enjoys their excitement when they play in different learning centers or learn something new.
Maisa earned an associate degree from Edmonds Community College. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family at a park and playing or swimming at the YMCA.
