Nayra Rosales

Special Educator

Nayra Rosales joined Northwest Center Kids Early Supports in September 2023. She has ample experience working with school-aged children with disabilities, having worked in both public and private school settings as a special education teacher in  Arizona and Washington state. From the start of her career, Nayra has appreciated how organizations like Northwest Center support parents and children to make a positive impact on the child’s success in school and life.

Nayra has been a co-teacher alongside general teachers, designing academic instructions and classroom accommodations for children with dyslexia, intellectual disabilities, emotional behavior disorders, autism, traumatic brain injury, and orthopedic impairments. Her advocacy is reflected in her willingness to share strategies with general educators and parents to support and celebrate the achievements of children with disabilities.

Nayra earned a bachelor’s degree in 2009 and is pursuing a dual master’s degree in Education for K-8 and Special Education for K-12 at Grand Canyon University. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
